German 2.Bundesliga

Union Berlin dropped a two goal lead last weekend and lost with 6-2 against Nuremberg. That was their first loss after four unbeaten matches, but they are relaxed as they are not involved in the promotion or relegation battle.

Union Berlin`s recent home form has been fantastic. They won each of their last six home games against SV Sandhausen, 1860 Munchen, Karlsruher SC, FSV Frankfurt, Eintracht Braunschweig and Heidenheim. They also kept a clean sheet in four of their last six home victories.

Union Berlin remained unbeaten in each of their last four head to head duels against Vfl Bochum, winning and drawing twice.

Vfl Bochum

Vfl Bochum showed some mixed performances recently, wining twice, losing twice and drawing twice in their last six matches. Last weekend they drew 1-1 against Karlsruher SC, and lost all of their chances for catching up the third playoff promotion spot.

Regarding their recent away form, Vfl Bochum were unbeaten in four straight away matches, before losing their last two away games against RB Leipzig and St.Pauli.

Striker Simon Terodde showed another good performance last weekend, scoring his 20th goal of the season. Together with Nils Petersen from SC Freiburg they share the top of the scoring chart in the 2.Bundesliga.
